The EU failed to agree on a €50 billion budget for Ukraine

The press service of the Council of the European Union issued a statement saying that EU countries were unable to reach a consensus on the need to provide financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros for the period from 2024 to 2027.
The document clarifies that EU member countries exchanged views on this issue, but could not reach a final agreement.
“On the proposed revision of the multiannual financial framework for 2021-2027, the European Council invites the EU Council to continue its work with the aim of reaching a common agreement by the end of the year,” the statement said.
