The European Union is not going to extend the sanctions restrictions against businessman Grigory Berezkin, ex-head of Ozon Alexander Shulgin and businessman Farhad Akhmedov. Reuters writes about this, citing sources.
According to the agency, the imposed EU sanctions will cease to apply on September 15.
Earlier, the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg did not consider the claims of Russian businessmen Mikhail Gutseriev, Gennady Timchenko, Dmitry Pumpyansky and Tigran Khudaverdyan, who were going to challenge EU sanctions imposed due to the Ukrainian crisis.
Last year, over 60 businessmen from the Russian Federation and Belarus filed lawsuits with the European Court of Justice of Luxembourg to challenge inclusion in the EU sanctions list.
