The ECtHR rejected the claim of Saakashvili’s lawyers to transfer him to a foreign clinic

The head of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, Rati Bregadze, said that the Strasbourg court dismissed the lawsuit filed by the lawyers of the former president of the republic, Mikheil Saakashvili, demanding that he be transferred to a foreign clinic for treatment.
Also, the court did not order Georgia to transfer Saakashvili to other treatment within the country.
Bregadze added during the briefing that Saakashvili is a prisoner and if the doctors make an appropriate recommendation, he will be returned from the Vivamed clinic, where he is currently located, to a penitentiary institution.
