The Duma supported the return of silver medals for school graduates

The State Duma of the Russian Federation during the plenary session voted in favor of the adoption of the amendment on the introduction of silver medals for school graduates.
So, according to the legislative initiative, graduates of the 11th grade who graduate from school with two “good” grades and the rest of the “excellent” grades in the certificate will be awarded the medal “For Special Achievement in Teaching II Degree”, that is, a silver medal.
It is noted that the amendment was introduced by parliamentarians for the second reading of the bill on the mandatory involvement of schoolchildren in socially useful work. The authors of the corresponding initiative are a group of senators and deputies, headed by the speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin.
