Deputy Chepa: Turkey’s transfer of S-400 to Ukraine can seriously spoil relations with Russia

State Duma Deputy Aleksey Chepa warned about the possible consequences of Turkey’s transfer of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system to Ukraine for relations between Russia and Turkey, writes Lenta.ru. According to him, now this issue is the subject of negotiations.

Chepa also called the return of the commanders of the Azov brigade (a recognized terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) a very bad signal.

The politician stressed that the United States continues to put pressure on countries that are loyal to Russia, and the conditions are becoming more favorable. And Turkey, according to him, “always looked for its own interests in this conflict, and it will adhere to this position in the future.”

Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Moscow was waiting for explanations from Ankara regarding the transfer of commanders of the Azov brigade to Kyiv, and these explanations would be taken into account in future agreements between Russia and Turkey.
