Anatoly Aksakov, head of the RF State Duma committee on the financial market, in an interview with URA.RU said that the majority of Russians are not interested in the ratio of the ruble to the dollar.
The deputy noted that he monitors the ruble-dollar ratio based on his work, while the majority of the population “doesn’t give a damn about this ratio.” The parliamentarian stressed that the state controls the situation. Aksakov pointed out that he is a deputy from Chuvashia, and enterprises in the Republic are busy, production volumes are increasing, and people are getting paid. According to him, the Republic lives a full life, there are smiles on their faces and there is no stress about the approaching dollar exchange rate to 100 rubles.
As the parliamentarian noted, at the moment Russia is at the peak of development in recent history. According to Aksakov, the country lives a normal life, and he has never seen such a state of positive development in modern Russia after the Soviet Union. The MP added that the country is in a positive trend of its development. At the same time, he clarified that the growth rate is still low, since Russia relied on oil, gas and energy carriers in the development of the economy, while mechanical engineering, instrument making and electrical engineering, in turn, are developing.
