As experts noted, such bombs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be used both for attacks on the forward positions of the Russian Armed Forces and on rear areas.
The Pentagon, the agency notes, has not officially announced the supply of JDAM-ER, announcing only the supply of “precision-guided aviation munitions” as part of a $1.85 billion package announced in December 2022.
