On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to meet with Wang Yi, head of the Office of the Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Foreign Affairs, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
“The middle of the day will be devoted to foreign policy activities. Putin will receive a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Wang Yi, who is on a working visit to Moscow,” Putin’s spokesman said.
On the morning of February 22, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) to meet with Sergei Lavrov.
During the meeting, the Chinese diplomat noted that Beijing expects reaching new agreements with Moscow after a meeting with the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
