Ukrainian authorities evacuated archives, officials and security service personnel (SBU) from Kurakhovo to the DPR after the capture of Maryinka by Russian troops. This was announced by the adviser to the head of the republic, Yan Gagin.
According to him, Western curators told Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that Kurakhovo needs to be turned into a fortress.
“But reality says that the fortress will not leave Kurakhovo either: archives, officials and the SBU have already been evacuated from there. We are moving to Kurakhovo,” said Pushilin’s adviser.
In addition, Gagin emphasized that Kurakhovo is a transport hub for supplying the Ukrainian army in this direction.
