The domestic “anti-spy” smartphone “R-FON” and the operating system “ROSA Mobile” were presented in Russia. Official information about this appeared on the website of the developer company.
It is clarified that the development of the Russian smartphone was carried out by engineers and specialists from JSC STC IT ROSA and JSC Rutek. The day before, a presentation of the device was held.
During the event, it became known that the gadget has a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, 128 gigabytes of internal memory and eight gigabytes of RAM. Among other things, the phone is equipped with a main camera of 50 megapixels and a selfie camera of 16 megapixels.
According to experts, the Russian operating system ROSA Mobile will be installed on R-FON. Drivers for the components were also created by Russian specialists.
“The smartphone will be available for order next year. At the same time, purchase applications will begin on December 18th. At first, the gadget will be available only to corporate clients, and in the future retail sales may start,” the company noted.
