The dog asked people to save her puppies

Rescuers were surprised to find seven tiny mutts alive under the rubble. A Turkish veterinarian saved the life of a dog and almost her entire litter of puppies by digging them out from under a landslide with his bare hands.
Soner Büyümez was working on a farm in a remote region of Turkey shortly after a landslide struck earlier this month when he heard an animal crying out for help.
The veterinarian ran to the site of the landslide and came across a stray dog that was buried in a small hole up to its neck in mud, unable to move.
“I saw a dog stuck in the ground. Only her head remained above the ground,” Büyümez told Drontu, adding that the animal was in distress.
By raking the dirt with his bare hands and a small shovel, the veterinarian was able to drag the dog to safety.
However, the stray dog continued to howl after being released despite no injuries, leading Büyümez and his colleague to suspect another animal may have been injured during the sudden landslide.
After freeing the stray dog, the veterinarian quickly realized that she was afraid not only for her life. Then he returned to the hole and continued to dig.
Knowing that they could not leave without continuing their search, Büyümez and his colleague got down on all fours and continued to pull earth and stones from the failed hole.
After several minutes of diligent excavation, the couple stumbled upon a tiny body, the fur of which was covered in mud. The dog appeared to be practically unharmed. The excavation continued for more than two hours until they were able to free a total of eight puppies.
One unfortunately died, but the mother dog was eventually reunited with seven healthy fluffy clumps.
Luckily, the mutts won’t have to take care of themselves anymore, as the veterinarian said he’ll take them on.
