Prodeus also stated that it would be even worse when trying to put ice on burnt skin with ice, as this would only aggravate the severity of the injury.
The doctor pointed out that the best way to treat burns is to apply an ointment containing panthenol to the skin. In some cases, you will need to take medication that relieves inflammation, painkillers or antihistamines, he noted.
