The doctor said that during the day, “a person who, in principle, gets enough sleep at night, but likes to sleep during the day, 15-20 minutes is enough.”
If a person does not get enough sleep, then the optimal time for daytime sleep “depends on how severe the sleep deficit is.”
According to Cherkasova, if a night’s sleep lasts, say, only 5 hours compared to the norm of 8 hours, the duration of daytime sleep can be increased to one hour.
At the same time, the specialist warned that waking up, taking a nap during the day, preferably no later than 14-15 hours, so that in the evening you would not have difficulty falling asleep.
