The commander of the evacuation department of the Ural assault brigade stated that for the Ukrainian military, evacuation groups are priority targets on the battlefield.
According to him, this happens because at the time of evacuation 4-5 people are nearby. They are an excellent target for a mortar.
“Evacuation groups are priority targets for the Ukrainian military. Four or five people compactly in a group is a good target for a mortar,” noted a medic with the call sign “Dnepr.”
He clarified that some of the most desperate fighters work in evacuation groups, because they often advance under heavy fire not for themselves, but in order to save the wounded.
