Director of the Alexandra Pakhmutova Foundation Evgeny Malyshko spoke about the composer’s condition, RIA Novosti writes.

According to the publication’s interlocutor, Pakhmutova does not have COVID-19, but she does have a cold.

Malyshko denied information about the coronavirus in the 94-year-old composer, saying that he did not know where it came from.

There is a cold, but there is nothing like what is being written about in the news now, noted the director of the Pakhmutova Foundation.

He also added that she has no heart problems or other diagnoses, and she is in the hospital “just in case nothing happens.”
