He is suspected of receiving bribes
The Tagansky Court of Moscow on Thursday chose a preventive measure against the director of the capital’s music school. Gliere by Arnold Steinaguer. He is accused of taking a bribe.
As a MK reporter reported from the courtroom, during the trial the defendant behaved quietly, and a teacher was escorted into the conference room in handcuffs. It was clear from the trembling voice and facial expression that the man was terribly embarrassed by everything that was happening. Steinhauer is married and has grown children. When the judge asked about his place of work, the accused explained that he had worked as a school director in the past, since he had most likely already been fired, but he had not seen the relevant documents. The investigator requested that Steinhauer be placed under house arrest during the investigation, since while he was free, he would be able to destroy the snails and persuade witnesses to change their testimony. The lawyer asked the court, during house arrest, to allow walks in the fresh air for one hour a day, from 12 to 13. During the entire trial, the accused stood and said in a conversation with the lawyer that he had already had enough. As a result, he was given house arrest for two months.
Steinhauer was arrested on October 4, and on the same day he had three confrontations with witnesses. According to investigators, the school director issued increased bonuses to teachers and then extorted part of the bonuses as a bribe.
