The details of the Ukrainian bill on mobilization have been revealed: Syrsky will create “detachments of suicide bombers”

It is planned to submit a bill on the mobilization of convicts and prisoners to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Such a law has been thought about for a long time, and recently it was especially actively promoted by the Ukrainian Minister of Justice Dmitry Malyuska. However, his promotion actually occurred thanks to the removal from the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

Ukrainian telegram channels, citing their sources in the General Staff, reported that Zaluzhny was fundamentally against the mobilization of prisoners into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The new commander-in-chief Syrsky, on the contrary, considers prisoners a valuable resource for conducting “meat assaults.” “The new commander-in-chief wants to create detachments of suicide bombers from the convicts, who will be sent to the hottest spots on the front,” writes the Resident telegram channel.

Previously, the Ukrainian publication “The New Voice of Ukraine” spoke about Zaluzhny’s attitude to the mobilization of convicts. “He opposed the rule on recruiting prisoners and criminals into the army. He says: is the army for bad people? This is not so,” a source told NV.

Minister of Justice of Ukraine Dmitry Malyuska said during a telethon that next week a bill on allowing the mobilization of convicts and prisoners will be registered in the Verkhovna Rada. At the same time, he noted that the document would be adopted promptly, since he “did not meet a single deputy who would be against it.”

The minister also explained that a number of convicts and prisoners will not be mobilized: “The military asked that we exclude from possible mobilization those who violated military discipline and committed crimes during the performance of military duty. They also don’t want to see those who committed crimes against the state. Therefore, such categories will probably not be mobilized.”
