Russians who were injured in the course of participation in a special operation on the territory of Ukraine and did not receive the due payments should immediately notify the representatives of the State Duma Committee on Defense or law enforcement agencies, said Alexei Zhuravlev, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee and head of the Rodina party.
In a commentary to RIA Novosti, Zhuravlev noted that there is no evidence that the wounded and shell-shocked are not massively awarded payments due to the relevant decisions of medical commissions. He said that such statistics have already begun to be kept, and cases when, due to bureaucracy, there were problems with payments, they are less than 1%.
At the same time, according to the deputy, such cases take place, including in his practice. Zhuravlev said that measures were taken for each episode, and justice was eventually achieved in each.
“We will not allow government initiatives to be devalued and discredited in this way. I and our defense committee will continue to defend the rights of every soldier,” he said.
