Deputy Prosecutor General Demeshin announced attempts to undermine the situation in the Far East
The enemy is making attempts to “shatter the situation” in the Far East, despite the comparative security of the subjects of this region. This statement was made on Wednesday, January 31, by Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia Dmitry Demeshin at a meeting of the final board of the Primorye Prosecutor’s Office.
In particular, a representative of the supervisory agency noted, cases of high treason, espionage, sabotage and discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have been revealed. In a conversation with journalists, Demeshin noted that sabotage and attempts at espionage in the Far East have increased.
“Unfortunately, there are also our citizens – I’m talking about traitors to the Motherland who betray their country for bribes from foreign intelligence services. We have more such facts, including in Primorye,” the Deputy Prosecutor General quotes RIA News.
At the same time, he noted that law enforcement agencies stopped all such attempts.
Earlier it became known that in two years the Investigative Committee had opened more 270 criminal cases for disseminating false information about the Russian army.
