The deputy head of the SRZP faction in the State Duma supported Evraev in the election of the Yaroslavl governor

Deputy head of the faction “Fair Russia – For Truth” (SRZP) in the State Duma, the former governor of the Yaroslavl region Anatoly Lisitsyn supported the candidacy of the acting head of the region Mikhail Evraev in the September elections. Mr. Lisitsyn told Kommersant about this.
“Mikhail Evraev is changing the region for the better. Yes, he has little experience and I criticize many of his decisions. But he avoids the mistakes of the previous governor: he is open to the people, communicates with people, clearly understands that it is necessary to form a team, including Yaroslavl residents. He created a reform of the training of human resources,” the deputy noted, adding that he expresses his personal opinion. “Yes, the residents of Yaroslavl believe that it is necessary to choose leaders of this level from among their own, because in six years with the Moscow team we have lost a lot. Mikhail Evraev came with a different position: he clearly says that it is necessary to return the Yaroslavl team to the management system. Supporting him, I note that I have no personal plans. My task is simple: to be useful,” added Anatoly Lisitsyn.
The ex-deputy head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Mikhail Evraev, who until 2012 was a member of the federal bureau of Yabloko, is running for governor of the Yaroslavl region as a self-nominated candidate. In December 2021, SRZP leader Sergei Mironov stated that his party could support Mr. Evraev in the elections if he went to them without party support, and if he won, he delegated a representative of SRZP to the Federation Council. Formally, the Acting Governor fulfilled these conditions by including a State Duma deputy from the SRZP, actor and director Nikolai Burlyaev in his “senatorial troika”. However, in early August, several sources declared “Kommersant” that the senator, most likely, will be the chief federal inspector for Moscow, Viktor Kostin, who worked for many years as vice-governor of the Yaroslavl region.
In June of this year, Anatoly Lisitsyn supported in the early elections and. about. the mayor of Rybinsk (the second most important city in the Yaroslavl region) Dmitry Rudakov, although the SRZP had its own candidate Alexander Bokarev. For this, the former governor received rebuke along party lines. As a result, Mr. Rudakov won. SRZP does not participate in the gubernatorial elections in the Yaroslavl region.
