Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told TASS that President Vladimir Putin’s decree on the mandatory sale of earnings in foreign currency by exporting companies will not be published. According to him, the decree will remain for official use, and the list of companies affected by the decree cannot be published.
“For obvious reasons, the list of these companies, given the unfriendly actions of a number of countries, cannot be published,” explained Mr. Peskov.
On October 11, Mr. Peskov announced that Vladimir Putin signed Decree “On the implementation of the mandatory sale of proceeds in foreign currency received by individual Russian exporters under foreign trade agreements.” According to Dmitry Peskov, the decree applies to 43 groups of companies that belong to the fuel and energy complex, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, chemical and forestry industries, and grain farming.
