The Union of Armenians reported details about the funeral of the man who saved people during the terrorist attack in Crocus

The Union of Armenians of Russia reported that the farewell ceremony for Karen Yengibaryan, who died a few days after the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, will take place in Moscow.

It is known that 35-year-old Yengibaryan was not in the concert hall at the time of the terrorist attack – he turned out to be a random eyewitness on the street, but tried to help people get out of the burning building. According to compatriots, while leading people out of the building one by one, Yengibaryan inhaled carbon monoxide. He received additional damage to his respiratory tract when he gave his jacket to one of the victims and for this reason caught a cold. After saving people, the man was hospitalized with a diagnosis of acute respiratory tract infection. Over the following days, his condition worsened, and doctors were unable to help the patient.

Farewell to Karen Yengibaryan will take place at 11:00 on Saturday, March 30, in the Surb Khach Church of the Armenian Temple Complex on Olympic Avenue.
