The Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft, whose skin was damaged in December last year, undocked from the ISS. About it reported in the press service of the state corporation “Roscosmos”.

“There is a disconnect! The Soyuz MS-22 undocked from the International Space Station at 12:57:27 Moscow time,” the report said.

The ship is expected to land at 14:45 Moscow time.

On December 15, 2022, Roskosmos reported damage to the skin of the spacecraft, due to which pressure in the cooling system dropped on the Soyuz MS-22. Later, the state corporation noted that the damage could have been caused by a micrometeorite entering the radiator. Roscosmos stressed that the temperature on the ship is within normal limits and is not critical, as indicated by the crew members themselves.

In January, it was decided to extend the mission of the ship’s crew, and to lower the Soyuz MS-22 to Earth without a crew. At the same time, the ship, it was reported then, would deliver cargo and scientific equipment to Earth from the station. March 24 at Roscosmos reportedthat there will be 218 kg of cargo on board the ship, including station equipment for analysis or reuse, as well as the results of scientific research.
