Ngagwang Lovzang Tenjin Gyamtsho, the 14th Dalai Lama, predicted the onset of “troubled times” during his address to the faithful in India’s Bodhgkyu Mahabodhi Temple.
“His Holiness the Dalai Lama spoke about the onset of ‘times of troubles,'” Yulia Zhironkina, head of the Save Tibet Foundation, said.
According to her, in his speech, the Dalai Lama noted that humanity has come a long way in terms of material development, but people’s hearts “are still in turmoil because of passion and hatred.”
At the same time, at the end of the address, the 87-year-old spiritual leader said that the truth will certainly prevail.
Followers of Tibetan Buddhism from Russia also attended the Dalai Lama’s speech in the temple.
