The descent module of the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft landed southeast of the Kazakh city of Zhezkazgan. The first female cosmonaut of Belarus, Marina Vasilevskaya, the Russian Oleg Novitsky and the American female astronaut Loral O’Hara returned to Earth.

The ship landed at 10:17 Moscow time. Cosmonauts Oleg Novitsky and Marina Vasilevskaya spent 14 days in orbit, and Laural O’Hara, a participant in NASA’s 70th long-term expedition, spent 204 days. This is the first flight into space for Marina Vasilevskaya and Loral O’Hara. Mrs. Vasilevskaya is the first female cosmonaut from Belarus.

The Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft with Oleg Novitsky, Marina Vasilevskaya and NASA cosmonaut Tracy Dyson launched on March 23 from Baikonur. The launch of the spacecraft was originally planned for March 21, but due to a technical malfunction it was postponed a few seconds before the launch.
