The Frunzensky District Court considered three lawsuits filed by Petersburgers who fell under partial mobilization against the city military registration and enlistment office. All three believed that they were called up with violations, including not being given the opportunity to replace the soldier’s service with an alternative civilian one.
Daniil Bakalinsky, whose lawsuit turned out to be the first “anti-mobilization” in Russia, withdrew his claims without explaining the reasons, a Kommersant correspondent reports from the courtroom. Another plaintiff, Igor Minichev, did the same.
The plaintiff Mikhail Mutygullin withdrew the third lawsuit, as he was granted a reprieve. As the judge explained during the meeting, mobilized people do not have the right to file claims again for the same reasons.
