The court found that the murder occurred as a result of a quarrel in the apartment of the deceased, as a result of strangulation with a belt. The convict admitted guilt.
It was previously reported that Botikov worked as a senior researcher, he was directly involved in the development of the Sputnik V vaccine and received an award from the President of Russia.
