A Rubin fan who ran onto the field during his team’s match with Fakel (1:0) was sentenced to five days of arrest, Championship reports.
The decision against the fan was made by the Savinovsky District Court of Kazan.
In addition, this fan will be banned from attending Rubin matches for the next 2 years.
The incident took place in the match of the 16th round of the MIR Russian Premier League. Then a steward ran after the fan who ran onto the field, and together they knocked down Rubin goalkeeper Yuri Dupin, who escaped injury.
The fan was then escorted out of the field, and a few seconds later the final whistle sounded.
