The Kalininsky District Court of St. Petersburg banned a link to a song by rap artist Scally Milano (real name Daniil Dmitriev), which was posted on the website muztam.net, reports United press service of city courts.
Claims to the composition called “Nit” arose from the regional prosecutor’s office due to the fact that it contained obscene language, which, as the wording in the case file states, among other things, “implies the potential for the listener to use psychoactive substances,” which was regarded by the supervisory authority as “veiled propaganda.”
“These factors negatively affect the physical, intellectual, mental, spiritual and moral development of children,” the press service said in a statement.
The musician’s work has more than once become the object of attention of law enforcement agencies and public activists. In June 2023, another city court under similar circumstances decided remove several links to network resources where two of his songs were posted in the public domain – “Do it” and “TWO”. A couple of weeks before Scally Milano fined for 40 thousand rubles. according to the administrative protocol on discrediting the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code).
In April 2023, drug control officers disrupted the musician’s St. Petersburg concert at the Giant Hall club. According to one version, the visit of the security forces could also be connected with Mr. Dmitriev’s statements against the special operation. After this, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, took up arms against the rapper and called on law enforcement officers to pay attention to the young man.
