The Tverskoy Court of Moscow decided not to arrest in absentia the founder of the Tanuki and Ersh restaurant chains, Alexander Orlov, in the case of causing property damage.
“The investigator’s request to arrest Alexander Mikhailovich Orlov must be left unsatisfied,” said Judge Alexey Krivoruchko.
The entrepreneur is accused of causing particularly large property damage by a group of persons (Article 165 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He was put on the wanted list.
As lawyer Vladimir Podolin said in court, the damage in the case amounted to 20 million rubles, it has already been paid off.
