The court ordered the pensioner to pay compensation to the car owner who knocked down a stray dog

In Kranouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, the city court ordered a pensioner to compensate for the damage caused to the car after its owner knocked down a stray dog ​​on it, which the woman was feeding.

Homeless Naida ran onto the road on the outskirts of the city and was hit by a car, tells RG.RU.

The speed of the car was such that it dragged the body of the dog along the road 17.5 meters. The impact damaged the bumper and paintwork. The damage caused as a result of an accident to the car was later estimated at 60 thousand rubles.

At first Naida was still alive. While the traffic police inspector recorded the incident, the dog was whining, and two women were crying over it. One of them, Nadezhda Pisareva, a former teacher of an orphanage, responded to the question of a policeman whose dog she was, emotionally: “Mine!”.

And later, as the mistress, she was presented with a claim for damages. And when she stated that she was retired and she didn’t have that kind of money, Pisareva was sued.

And the court, as the newspaper notes, made a “wild decision” in favor of car owners.

“My dog, Bosik, is 23 years old,” the defendant said. Nadezhda Pisareva has a passport for him, and she simply feeds street dogs regularly.

Now 9 dogs are running to her for refreshment.

Pisareva’s neighbor, Nadezhda Kosareva, also serves food to vagrants. Kosareva tried to help her friend convince the judge that the good dog Naida had no owner – he died. But the women did not want to believe.

Ekaterinburg lawyer Alexander Tatarinov noted that “if Nadezhda Pisareva’s personal dog ran across the road and was hit, then, of course, the owner would be guilty of causing damage.”

Tatarinov considers the decision made by the court unfair and says that it needs to be appealed.
