The court fined Sindeeva 30,000 rubles for lack of foreign agent markings

The Presnensky District Court of Moscow fined him 30,000 rubles. the founder of the Dozhd TV channel (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent media and an undesirable organization) Natalya Sindeeva (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) for not being marked as a foreign agent, court spokeswoman Lela Kokaya told Vedomosti.
The court imposed a fine on Sindeeva under Part 4 of Art. 19.34 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (production of materials by a foreign agent without indicating that they were produced by a foreign agent). The claims against the journalist are related to three posts on Telegram in which Sindeeva did not add the foreign agent tag.
Ministry of Justice turned on Sindeev to the list of foreign agents in October 2022. August 7, the ministry contributed Dozhd TV channel is included in the list of undesirable organizations. The list was supplemented by two branches of the channel – the Latvian SIA TV Rain and the Dutch TVR Studios BV, whose activities were previously recognized by the Prosecutor General’s Office as undesirable. After being included in the register, the TV channel announced that it was stopping fundraising and canceling subscriptions from Russians.
September 1 in the Meshchansky Court of Moscow entered protocol against political scientist Ekaterina Shulman (recognized as a foreign agent) under a similar article. Previously, Shulman had already been prosecuted for failing to mark a foreign agent.
