The Moscow Arbitration Court declared Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty LLC bankrupt (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign media agent).
The initial bankruptcy procedure, supervision, was introduced by the court in August after a statement from the Moscow inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service. The reason was the tax debt in the amount of more than 6 million rubles.
Then the register of creditors’ claims included debts in the amount of 720.8 million rubles and a claim by the Moscow department for ensuring the activities of justices of the peace for 69.6 million rubles.
Yulia Aga-Kuliyeva was approved as the bankruptcy trustee, previously she was an interim trustee.
