The court decided to arrest for 2 months Alexander Permyakov, accused of the attempt on Zakhar Prilepin. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
“Taking into account the position of the prosecutor’s office, Alexander Permyakov, accused of blowing up the car in which Zakhar Prilepin was moving, was chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention,” the report says.
Permyakov, during interrogation, said that he had used two anti-tank mines with a superimposed plastid charge. According to him, he was recruited several years ago by the Ukrainian special services. Before the assassination attempt, he followed Prilepin for several days, and on the way to his house he buried mines, one of which was hit by the deputy’s car.
Criminal cases were opened under articles on terrorist attack and illegal acquisition, transfer and storage of explosives and explosive devices.
Recall that as a result of the explosion of Prilepin’s car in the Nizhny Novgorod region, his driver died. Prilepin himself was wounded, the day before he came to his senses after the operation.
