The Corporate Cup was established on the Day of Health and Sports in Kaluga

The corporate and family holiday “Health and Sports Day” was held on May 27 in the eco-club “Golitsyno” in Kaluga. The author of the holiday – the Lubomir Foundation – holds it 22 times! It harmoniously complements each other corporate sports, family holidays and cultural program.

Since this year, the Corporate Sports Cup has been established. It will be rolling, which means that every year new names of the winners will appear on it. This year it was the Kaluga Engine plant.

General Director of PJSC “Kadvi” Evgeny Nikolaevich Galynsky noted the rapid development of the enterprise in all areas, especially in sports. “If you look at our indoor sports fields, you will see that every lunch hour they are full of athletes. We have set a course for development in all areas: production, social, sports, and we declare that this cup will stay with us for many years!” Galinsky said.

There are grounds for the statement: the victory was won with a large margin – 8 points from the nearest rival – “KEZ KVT”, which took second place and is two and four points ahead of the rest of the rivals.

Kadvi’s rivals were serious companies: the Galantus Group of Companies, the Company for the production of medicines, the Kaluga Electrotechnical Plant KVT, LLC Kaluzhskaya Niva (EkoNiva). EkoNiva’s team was also among the winners – third place in the team standings. Thus, three newcomers successfully challenged the victory of the “old-timers” of the holiday.

The results by type were distributed as follows:

Futsal: 1st place – KBT, 2nd place – Kadvi, 3rd place – a pharmaceutical company.

Volleyball: 1st place – Kadvi, 2nd place – drug manufacturing company, 3rd place – Galantus.

Streetball (introduced this year): 1st place – Kadvi, 2nd place – EkoNiva, 3rd place – Galantus.

Shooting: 1st place – KBT, 2nd place – Kadvi, 3rd place – drug production company.

Mom, dad, I are a sports family: 1st place – Kadvi, 2nd place – EkoNiva, 3rd place – KVT.

Darts: 1st place – Kadvi, 2nd place – drug production company, 3rd place – KBT.

Rowing boat competitions: 1st place – Galantus, 2nd place – KBT, 3rd place – EkoNiva.

Tug of war: 1st place – EkoNiva, 2nd place – Galantus, 3rd place – a pharmaceutical company.

Oleg Serdyukov, Minister of Sports of the Kaluga Region, attended the opening ceremony as a guest of honor. The minister noted that the professional judging staff of the competition guarantees their holding at the highest level.

The coveted Corporate Sports Cup was presented by the winner of last year, the owner of the Governor’s Cup, Oleg Mitrofanov, General Director of the Galantus company and co-organizer of the holiday.

Athletes received personal certificates in each sport from the water center “Kaluzhskiye termy” and the fitness center “Atmosfera”. The main prize is a full range of water center services for the entire team – another healthy corporate event.

The author of the holiday, the Lubomir Foundation, unites companies that develop corporate sports at the Health Day competitions. Since this year, the Foundation has established the Regional Award for the development of corporate sports and a healthy lifestyle at enterprises. All participants of the Health and Sports Day became the owners of the First Regional Prize. The prize fund amounted to 200,000 rubles, which the winners will be able to spend on participation in the festival in 2023. Investment BCS-bank acted as a partner of the Award. Speaking at the awards ceremony, Bank Director Alexander Volkov stressed that investing in corporate sports is an investment in the health of employees, and managing investments is the credo of a financial holding.

Health and Sports Day is not only a corporate holiday, but also a family holiday. This year’s innovations include corporate launches of children’s teams. Six teams from participants and organizers competed in agility, supporting their parents. And the adults cheered for the young athletes. The first place was taken by the team of children from EkoNiva, the second place was taken by KEZ KVT, and the third place was taken by the combined team of the Lubomir Foundation and Art Ne_Dessert studio.

The director of the engineering company “S-Test” Valeria Poperina presented the prizes. She stressed that the growing number of children at the festival of health and sports is a genuine indicator, because children are the most honest judges. A special prize was established by the Kantspark chain of stores, and for the winners of the family relay race, by the Chistodeya company. While the results of the competition were being summed up, the children showed an impromptu dance of corporate flags and put on a show of soap bubbles.

Traditionally, the sports part is accompanied by activities for the fans. During the celebration, the Kaluga Pétanque Club organized master classes in pétanque. In the fan zone: Chess Tournament “ShahKonem”, marshmallow checkers, tea room, circus performances and master classes of the studio of Irina Nosova, creative gazebo “Kantspark”, a cozy lounge area from the guest farm “Malina”, gentle massage by Natalia Ermakova, body program of the psychologist Eleonora Lukina, art therapy by Polina Leonova, art lawn of the Art_Ne_Dessert studio, master classes on tablet programming from the Thor computer academy, Multilandia quests and games from the Our Course training center, a quiz from the Directorate of Parks, master classes “Non-Schools of Drums”, yoga of laughter with the healthy living community, balance weights, slacklines and rope tracks from the urban community “Habitat”. The celebration was decorated by artists of the Kaluga Philharmonic – the Orion group, the cover bands Max-Band and Gagarin-Band.

Exchanging mutual greetings, the team leaders noted that the Day of Health and Sports has become a kind of club that unites the companies of the region. And wished each other next year to meet in a broader format.
