The head of the region explained that initially the project involved the use of a rope from a French supplier, but cable cars were classified as luxury goods, the export of which to Russia is limited by EU sanctions. They also planned to receive booths with a capacity of 60 people from France, Orlov noted, now an alternative supplier from India and Turkey is being selected, he added. The head of the region estimated the total volume of Russian and Chinese investments at 5 billion rubles.
“I am absolutely sure that the project will be implemented, but it will take a year to the right. Whether the cost will change is not yet ready to say, ”the governor explained.

Its length should be 976 m, the travel time is 2.5 minutes, and the capacity is 2.5 million people per year in both directions. How noted RIA Novosti, in Russia there is only one project of a similar scale – a cable car in Nizhny Novgorod with a span of 861.21 m over the water.
