The Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation approved documents on the admission of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to Russia.

The documents were submitted to the CC after signing in the Kremlin on September 30.

“Recognize an international treaty that has not entered into force <...> corresponding to the Constitution of the Russian Federation,” the court ruling says, which is now “immediately sent to the president.”

“This Resolution is final, not subject to appeal, enters into force immediately after its official publication. <...> does not require confirmation by other bodies and officials <...> subject to immediate publication,” the text of the court reads.

State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that the lower house of parliament at a meeting on October 3 will consider draft constitutional laws on the admission of new subjects to the country, as well as on the ratification of relevant international treaties.
