The conclusion of a long-term contract for the reconstruction of a public garden in the Sovetsky district was approved by the head of Voronezh, Vadim Kstenin.

The mayor of Voronezh, Vadim Kstenin, on behalf of the head of the region, announced the start of preparations for bidding to find a contractor who will reconstruct the square next to the Fakel stadium in the Sovetsky district of the city (matches will be held at this site during the reconstruction of the main arena). The head of the city asked the leadership of the district government to deal with this as soon as possible. The mayor of the city announced this in his Telegram channel on Saturday, October 28.

Let us remind you that the “Reconciliation and Harmony” square is located at: Domostroiteley, 26v. A long-term contract with a contractor involves a period exceeding the approved limits of budgetary obligations for the performance of work.

The concept of the park has already been approved by the Voronezh administration. The park will have a public toilet, sports areas, playgrounds, bike paths and places for walking. Also, city residents will certainly appreciate the alleys provided for quiet relaxation. Separately, Vadim Kstenin noted that during the work special attention will be paid to green spaces.

Vadim Yuryevich recalled that, together with the Soviet government, he had worked out in advance the routes for fans to enter the stadium through this square – they will be located so that the townspeople (in particular, residents of surrounding houses) do not feel inconvenienced. By the way, the match will be broadcast on the main square of Football Square. It is also planned to build a store there where souvenirs with the Fakel symbols will be sold.

“We hope that this year we will be able to find a conscientious contractor, but the bulk of the work will be carried out next year,” the mayor noted.
