The rally-concert in honor of the tenth anniversary of the annexation of Crimea to Russia was attended by more than 80 thousand people, said official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk.
“Law and order and security are ensured by employees of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in cooperation with colleagues from other law enforcement agencies. More than 80 thousand Muscovites and guests of the capital take part in the event,” she wrote in her Telegram-channel.
The concert featured performances by Polina Gagarina, Nikolai Baskov, Grigory Leps, Nikolai Rastorguev, “Hands Up!”, “Lube” and others. Event visited Russian President Vladimir Putin. He gave a speech about the entry of Crimea into the country. Mister Putin reported on the completion of the restoration of the railway from Rostov-on-Don to Donetsk and Mariupol. Afterwards he congratulated the Russians on the holiday.
