The coaching staff of the Metallurg hockey club has partially changed

Due to personal circumstances, Valery Belov left the position of the club’s head coach.
Ravil Khaidarov became the new head coach of the Novokuznetsk hockey club. Earlier, in the two previous VHL championships, Ravil led Neftekamsk Toros. In the 2023/24 season, Khaidarov worked in Germany.
Also, according to representatives of the Metallurg press service, the Novokuznetsk club has changed its coach for working with defenders. Now, instead of Oleg Mikulchik, the defenders will be coached by Artem Sedunov, he was the head coach of Ryazan-VDV in the 2023/24 season. Oleg Mikulchik left the Novokuznetsk club by agreement of the parties.
Changes in the Metallurg coaching staff did not affect Evgeny Fedorov, Dmitry Yachanov, Igor Zakharov and Alexander Smirnov. They will continue coaching at the headquarters of the Novokuznetsk club.
