The coach who led Uralmash to the USSR First League has died

At the age of 77, the former head coach of Uralmash, Ural coach Korney Shperling, died. This was reported by the press service of FC Ural.
“Korney Shperling forever inscribed his name in the history of our club. “Thank you for your work for the benefit of Ural football,” noted the football club. “We express our most sincere and deepest condolences to the family and friends of the wonderful coach.”
The team said that Korney Shperling worked as the head coach of Uralmash in the late 80s and early 90s, and in the mid-2000s he was an assistant to the head coach of Ural Vladimir Kalashnikov.
In 1990, Korney Shperling’s Uralmash won the Second League of the USSR Football Championship. This victory allowed the Sverdlovsk team to play in the USSR First League the next year.
MK-Ural previously wrote that Former Uralmash striker Georgy Amiropulo died at the age of 69.
Georgy Amiropulo was born in Nizhny Tagil. He started playing football there. From FC Uralets, which is based in Nizhny Tagil, he moved to Sverdlovsk.
