It is known that the mother of figure skater Alina Gorbacheva on August 28 turned to the police with a statement about her disappearance. According to the source, on the evening of August 28, the athlete quarreled with the coach, left the Chkalov Arena ice palace on Letnaya Street and entered the park, which was recorded by the cameras. After that, her traces were lost. But in the end, the capital’s video surveillance system made it possible to track Gorbacheva’s location, the press service of the Moscow prosecutor’s office reported.
“This is a very common practice when a promising figure skater lives at his coach’s house, as in the case of Alina Gorbacheva,” says figure skating coach Olga Grigoryevna. – As far as I know, it is Alina who lives with the coach, she is alone. They have been living as “mother and daughter” for several years now.
If the coach sees some promising young athlete and takes on such a responsibility to help him reach heights in sports, then the most correct thing is to take him to live with him, unless, of course, this child is from another city. Many coaches go for it if, for example, his family cannot move, cannot support a child…
There are coaches who help the child financially or even fully support him. If the coach relies on a young athlete and hopes to achieve high results with him, then he completely controls him: both nutrition and regime – for 24 hours a day. By the way, my daughter once lived in Finland with her coach, and more than once.
And, as in every family, problems and conflicts can arise between a teenager and his parents or a coach. It’s the same family. It doesn’t matter if it’s a coach or a mom…
Figure skaters enter puberty later than ordinary teenagers, and Alina is now also in this period, when everything is perceived especially sharply by a teenager. Maybe something seemed to her, she was offended by something … Such emotional outbursts are a common thing.
Athletes are under a lot of pressure right now. After the summer it is very difficult to enter the new season, the children had a rest, now we have to start working again.
We must endure this difficult teenage period and continue to ride.
I also admit that Alina had such a demonstrative behavior … You know how often children write statements that they are quitting this activity, and then ask tearfully to return their skates! “I won’t do that again, I’ll skate well.” The child is just tired and needs to rest.
