The civilian infrastructure of the Ryazan region was not damaged after the UAV attack

The civilian population and urban infrastructure were not injured after the Ukrainian drone attack this morning, wrote Governor of the Ryazan region Pavel Malkov in his Telegram channel.

“Dear Ryazans. Early this morning there was an emergency at a military airfield. According to the Ministry of Defense, an attempt was made by the Kyiv regime to strike with drones. But they were intercepted by the anti-aircraft defense of the Russian Aerospace Forces, ”he wrote.

Malkov expressed condolences to the families of the soldiers who died during the attack, while noting that the civilian population and urban infrastructure were not affected.

The Ministry of Defense earlier today reported the death of three Russian servicemen in an attempt to attack the military airfields of long-range aviation “Dyagilevo” in the Ryazan region and “Engels” in the Saratov region. President Vladimir Putin has been informed of the incident, said his press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

The incident at the Dyagilevo air base on the western outskirts of Ryazan in the early morning of December 5 became known from eyewitness reports on social networks. The emergency services told TASS that the explosion occurred at the aircraft parking lot.

Another incident occurred at a facility near the town of Engels in the Saratov region. Telegram channel Baza reported that it allegedly affected the runway of the local air base.
