The Chinese Foreign Ministry responded to insults from Podolyak

Adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak must explain his insulting remarks about “weak intellectual potential” towards China. About it stated Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning attends a briefing.

“I don’t know the background of this person’s statements, he must make an explanation. <...> The relevant persons must carefully analyze this and treat it correctly,” she said (quoted by RIA Novosti).

Mao Ning added that the PRC always takes a responsible position in relation to the conflict in Ukraine. Beijing always calls on the parties to negotiate and declare a truce to resolve the crisis.

Podolyak said in an interview with the Ukrainian “New Edition” that the intellectual potential of India and China is weak. In his opinion, the problem of the two countries is that they do not analyze the consequences of their decisions. Both states, together with Turkey, are “effectively making money” from the Ukrainian conflict, he is sure.
