The chief sports official of Kaluga, Igor Matvienko, became the champion of the Central Federal District in powerlifting. The athlete competed in the 66 kg weight category, Matvienko himself said on his social networks.
“I became the champion of the central federal district in powerlifting. I competed in the 66 kg weight category,” said Matvienko.
I managed to squeeze out all 3 attempts – 175 kg, 180 kg and 187.5 kg.
The performances in the Central Federal District for Matvienko became a dress rehearsal for the Russian Cup, which will take place in 2 weeks in Tula.
