The championship of Siberia in cross-country skiing started in Angarsk

In the Irkutsk region, on January 18, the championship and superiority of the Siberian Federal District in cross-country skiing began. Skiers from different regions of the Siberian Federal District came to Angarsk, where the competitions are held.
The Irkutsk region will be represented by 21 athletes from Angarsk, Irkutsk, Baikalsk, Sayansk and other municipalities.
Competitions will be held in team and individual competitions. Skiers will compete for medals in the following disciplines: free and classic, sprint (classic), team relay.
The championship of Siberia will end on January 22. Based on the results of the competition, a list of candidates for the national team of the Siberian Federal District will be formed from the strongest athletes for further participation in the Russian championship. It will be held from February 28 to March 6 in the Kirov region.
