The Championship of Business Games “Regions” will be held in Kostroma

On February 18, 2024, the Regional Championship of Business Games “Regions” will be held at the State Budgetary Institution “Palace of Creativity”.
30 teams – 150 people – applied to participate in the Championship.
The championship is based on the big macroeconomic game “Regions”. Each team at the game is given game currency. By interacting within the team, between other participants and game points, such as Bank, Licensing, Registration, etc., the team increases and develops its savings in the process of producing patents and goods.
Each participant at the game can try himself in various roles: become a president, a manager or an ordinary employee. Open your own business, invest in real estate, or make a political decision that will affect the well-being of citizens of an entire region.
A special feature of this year’s Championship will be the emergence of a family league, where schoolchildren in grades 1-6 will participate in the same team with their parents and family members. A trial business game with family teams took place in the fall of 23 and showed great interest in this format on the part of the participants. Family teams noted that such games open up new opportunities for them:
- – quality leisure time for families with school-age children,
- – increasing the level of financial literacy for children and adults,
- – an opportunity for parents and children to look at each other as allies and unite even more during team play,
- – the opportunity to transfer experience and skills from children to parents in a playful way during teamwork at a business game.
The result of the game is summed up by the overall standings, as well as by the leagues in which the teams are represented. There are 3 leagues in the game:
- – teams of 6-8 grades,
- -teams of grades 9-11,
- -family teams (with children in grades 1-6).
