The champion before the finish line regained the “pole position”

A warm April day forced the organizers of the Theatrical Football League to think about entering the open areas of the Krasnaya Presnya stadium. However, the participants had the last word, and it was decided to play in the arenas.

As for the events in group “A”, the Musical Theater could finally rejoice at the victory. For a long time it seemed that Grigory Bagramyan’s goal against Sketches in Space would remain the only one, but at the end of the meeting, thanks to a rebound after a set piece, the advantage doubled. In addition, Georgy Mergelov played to zero, and this was somewhat unexpected, given that in the ranks of the opponents there was such a scorer as Denis Sazhenev. However, the striker was remembered rather differently: at some point, an elastic band that fixed his hair at the back of his head came off, and their owner demonstrated dribbling, holding his hair with his hand.

The Taganka Theater, which failed the previous round, gathered the strongest line-up – even the main goalscorer of the last season, Vyacheslav Morozov, who had been absent for a long time, arrived. But success was brought to the champion by a staged team game, where anyone could be at the forefront of the attack. Andrey Sychev or Oleg Evteev left the reserve – and were also marked in someone else’s grid. Therefore, two big wins with the same score looked quite logical.

In one of the pairs, the colors of the T-shirts of the teams did not differ too much from each other, and they had to resort to shirt-fronts. But now the equipment of the referee was visually repeated. Eduard Tarkhanov did not lose his head and took out a spare “neutral” attribute from his bag.

The problem of T-shirts in group “B” had to be solved by another referee – Alexei Davydov, only for a different reason. At some point in the Bolshoi Theater, the goalkeeper and the defender started to swap positions, but the referee was not notified about this, and they themselves did not change clothes in accordance with the rearrangement. Order was put in place, but imagine what would happen if Alexander Kolosov, who remained in green, took the ball in his hands at the last line! According to the letter of the law, a penalty would have to be awarded.

Meanwhile, the main attention was riveted on Vasily Nosakov – how much he will be able to replenish the collection of accurate blows. However, the sniper limited himself to only one hit in the Pushkin Theater net, and the partners did not support him at all. Neither in this meeting, not against the “Satyricon”, whose main striking force was Grigory Galkin, who made a double. And in the decisive battle, he did need to create a hat-trick to bring his team to the final. For even shortly before the final whistle, this shone for the Pushkin Theater, in which Kirill Chernyshenko also scored three times.

He also scored a double in the match for third place, like his two other partners, and therefore the victory over the Musical Theater was, as they say, with a tennis score. However, the losers could still talk about progress, because in this round they were able to leave the group for the first time.

And in the final, “Satyricon” tried to fight the favorite, leading twice in the score. Dmitry Fedoseev’s free-kick goal was especially good. However, “Taganka”, starting from the center, instantly restored the balance. And then she went off on her own.

Thus, the Taganka Theater scored 34 rating points and regained the first line. The Theater of Nations has 32, the Teatrium on Serpukhovka – 30. All the leaders participate in the final round, and therefore there is a theoretical situation that, according to its results, they will have equal points. Next came Sketches in Space – 19, Satyricon – 16, Bolshoi Theater – 13, Pushkin Theater – 12, Musical Theater – 9 points. In this part of the table, the intrigue is as follows: will the Musical Theater be able to leave the last line, because the two teams in front of it have already completed their performances.

And in the scorer’s race, dual power – Sergei Selivanov (Theater of Nations) and Vasily Nosakov (Bolshoi Theater) scored 23 goals each. In third place is now Kirill Chernyshenko (Pushkin Theatre) with 12 goals.
