The central stadium of trade unions in Voronezh can be redeemed for 200 million rubles

The government of the Voronezh region is ready to buy the Central Trade Union Stadium from the regional trade union council, where home matches in the Russian Premier League FC Fakel are held. Regional authorities are ready to pay 200 million rubles for the purchase of the stadium. This was reported on April 7 by the publication Kommersant-Chernozemyereferring to information from its own source.
After the conclusion of the deal, reconstruction is planned at the Central Stadium of Trade Unions, which a Belarusian company can do. This decision was made after the Voronezh officials personally got acquainted with the high-quality renovation of the stadium in Minsk.
The reconstruction of the facility may take two years, all the necessary financial resources for it are available in the reserve part of the budget.
Recall that now the sports facility is owned by the Voronezh Regional Association of Trade Union Organizations, which is why the authorities cannot fully reconstruct it. In 2022, the stadium was taken from the obsovprof for free use for five years. In the summer, the stadium was renovated – then it took about 300 million rubles to equip and improve it.
