The Central Election Commission registered representatives of candidates and parties in the presidential elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered authorized representatives of the Communists of Russia party for the presidential elections scheduled for this year. In addition, the CEC registered proxies and authorized representatives on financial issues of presidential candidate Leonid Slutsky (LDPR), as well as authorized representatives on financial issues of candidates Sergei Baburin (Russian All-People’s Union), Boris Nadezhdin (Civil Initiative) and Nikolai Kharitonov (CPRF).
The Russian presidential elections will take place over three days, from March 15 to 17. Messrs. Slutsky and Kharitonov, as well as Vladislav Davankov (“New People”) have already been registered as candidates. Vladimir Putin plans to take part in the elections as a self-nominated candidate. CEC registered initiative group to nominate Mr. Putin in December 2023.
